הכל על אמנות דיגיטלית - קבוצת 10 אמנים דיגיטלים.

קבוצת 10 אמנים דיגטלים הוקמה בשנת 2009 והיא משקפת עשר קונצפציות אומנותיות וסגנונות ייחודיים – כשלכל אמני הקבוצה מכנה משותף: כולם עושים שימוש במדיה דיגיטלית כדי לבטא את יצירתם האומנותית. המחשב על תוכנותיו השונות, העט והמשטח הדיגיטלי, המצלמה והסורק משמשים את בני הקבוצה כ"מכחול". הגיוון של בני הקבוצה מתבטא לא רק בקונצפציות והסגנונות השונים אלא משתקף גם בעובדה שהם נעזרים בתוכנות בעלות מאפיינים שונים הכוללות לעניין זה Vector Graphics,Bitmap Graphics כמו גם Fractal Graphics.
המצלמה הדיגיטלית והסורק משמשים לכמה מהאומנים כנקודת מוצא לליקוט אבני היסוד שעליהם תיבנה היצירה, בעוד שאחרים נעזרים במחשב, בעט ובלוח הדיגיטלי בלבד. חלקם עבדו מתחילת דרכם במדיה זו, בעוד שאחרים הגיעו לדיגיטציה לאחר תקופת יצירה מסורתית כציירים וכצלמים. קבוצת 10 אמנים דיגיטליים שואפת להביא להכרה באמנות הדיגיטלית כזרם אמנותי ייחודי.
כללית, שינתה העבודה עם המחשב את דרכי החשיבה ושיפרה אותם לאין ערוך. הדבר נתן אותותיו במיוחד בכל מה שקשור לחידוד הרעיוני ולדיוקו ולבהירות המחשבתית שהעבודה על המחשב מאפשרת להשיג. בפוטנציאל שהיה טבוע במחשב ואשר מכוחו שופרו דרכי החשיבה, היה יותר מרמז, שבעבודה עם המחשב ניתן לשפר את העשייה גם כשמדובר באמנות הציור.
מאז ומעולם, אפשרה הטכנולוגיה לאמן לחרוג מגבולותיה ומאפשרויותיה של האמנות המסורתית והיא שימשה מעין מגבר ליכולותיו. כך גם כשמדובר בשימוש באמצעים הדיגיטליים של המצלמה, הסורק, המחשב, העט והמשטח הדיגיטליים למטרות האומנות. ציור בכלים אלה יוצר "מכחול" ייחודי. מכחול המאופיין באיכויות חדשניות שאין להן אח ורע באמצעי הציור המסורתיים. אפשר לומר כי בציור הדיגיטלי השמיים הם הגבול. עם זאת, יש לזכור שאין בהכרה בייחודיות של
ה"מכחול" שהאמצעים הדיגיטליים יוצרים, כדי להקנות לאמצעים אלה מעמד מעבר להיותם כלי ביצוע בלבד. השימוש ביכולות הללו נעשה לא על חשבון, אלא תוך שמירה על ערכי האומנות הפלסטית של הקומפוזיציה, הצבע, ועוד. מעמדם של האמצעים הדיגיטליים ככלי ביצוע דומה לזה שממנו נהנים העיפרון או המכחול המסורתיים. אין לאמצעים הדיגיטליים שיקול דעת או כוח שיפוט משלהם. גם בעידן הציור הדיגיטלי האמן הוא היוצר.
מתוך השיח האמנותי נולד הרעיון להציג תערוכה משותפת בנושא שנבחר על ידי חברי הקבוצה.
הקבוצה מתארגנת לקראת תערוכה קבוצתית גדולה.

The “10 Artists” group was founded in 2009, and reflects the styles and artistic concepts of ten artists – with a common denominator for all the artists in the group, of using the digital media to express their art. The computer, alongside various applications, the stylus pen and digital pad, the camera, and the scanner are all used by the group members as a kind of “paintbrush”. The variety within the group is reflected not only by the different artistic concepts and styles, but also by the fact that the artists use application with different features including, in this context, vector graphics and bitmap graphics, as well as fractal graphics. The digital camera and the scanner are used by some of the artists as a source from which they begin gathering the foundations upon which they would construct their artwork, whereas others only use a computer, stylus pen and digital pad. Some of them have been working with this medium from an early stage of their work, while others went through a period of more traditional creative process, as painters and photographers, before going digital. The 10 digital artists group would like to define digital art as an acknowledged artistic movement.
In all aspects, working with a computer has changed the way in which we think, improving it significantly. This has been particularly evident in fields that involve sharpening and purifying an idea, due to the conceptual clarity made possible by working with a computer. This potential, held by the computer, for improving our though mechanisms, was sufficiently indicative that there was also room for improvement in the field of art and painting.
Technology has always enabled the artist to exceed its limits and go outside the options made available by traditional arts and crafts, acting as an amplifier for his abilities. This is also the case with the use of digital means, like a camera, scanner, computer, stylus pen, and digital pad, for artistic purposes. Painting using these tools creates a unique paintbrush – a paintbrush characterized by innovative features, with no equivalence in traditional painting.
You could say that when it comes to digital painting, the sky is the limit.
Nevertheless, we must bare in mind that acknowledging the uniqueness of the “paintbrush” provided by digital means, still doesn't mean that they are perceived as more than a mere tool. The use of these abilities is in no way done at the expense of, but rather by the guidelines of composition, color, and other principles of plastic art. These digital means are on the same level as other tools, like the traditional paintbrush or pencil. The digital means have no judgment or jurisdiction of their own. In the age of digital painting, the artist is still the creator.
From this artistic discourse arose the idea of creating a group exhibition, with a theme selected by the members of the group.
This large scale exhibition idea is now at the top of our agenda.
